Tribute to Mumbai

Scores and scores of innocent victims mowed down by terrorist bullets, hundreds injured and perhaps fighting for their lives in hospitals, bereaved families and a shocked nation...the memory of the siege in Mumbai which began close to midnight on November 26th still continues with Army commandos and police fighting to free hostages and minimize further casualties. My heart goes out to the families and friends who have lost a loved ones in this horrific act of terror. I salute the spirit of Mumbai- be resilient but dont forget and dont allow the apathy to set in again as you have in the past.Mumbai and Mumbaikars and guests of the city of Mumbai- we salute your spirit. We pay tribute to the NSG commandoes and police who have laid down their lives and the many victims of these hapless blasts and shootings. It is time to shirk off our apathy and time for each one of us to make our vote count & hold our political leaders accountable, fulfil their duties & responsibilities as our leaders. We must do our duty and accept our responsibilities as citizens of this nation. We must play our part to help and protect fellow citizens and make sure we all progress together.
